RETROSPECTIVE: This takes me back in time - my 14 tear-old self tearing at those scrapped loops and samples and glueing them back together. The artwork strikes me funny, but it was the first thing I came up with when in my first drawing pad. I still ask myself why I named this "Hell#One". "Mastodon CHEF" is unintentionally misspelled.

In a future where humans believe in fairy-tails and in other stories, it was believed that the salvation of the world was in the hands of puppets, controlled by a puppet master, master of an ancient art long forgotten. The leader of the Mastodon tribe was the only known man capable of mastering this art, and decided to trust himself a young apprentice to carry his legacy for he was old. The power of the puppet master lied in his ability to convince the inanimate of their capacities and so creating an army to fight humanity's main enemy, the silent killers. Not even the puppet master himself could see through their act as they mimicked humans, consuming everything around. But the puppets, they could distinguish the human essence, Eventually, the Mastodon's leader died by the hands of one of his traveling servants consumed by a silent killer during a run outside to get alchemy supplies to cure his people. The fate of the last group of humans alive in a small place outside of the wastelands, known as the edge of mind, is kept in the hands of the young puppet master.
