about

"It sucks."
~ Nanni

"Sounds like my copper."

Everyone,

Making these records has always been a dear hobby of mine. The main purpose was always to have fun without regulation, by whatever means. As a kid, this was freeing even if it meant some records were essentially sound collages; or that MIDI VST instruments had to be played with the laptop's keyboard.

When reflecting on continuing this hobby, although the creative aspect remains interesting personally, the execution is not as rewarding and tends to be more incompetent and inconsistent everytime. On a technical level, "Ritual" was extremely frustrating. Concept and content-wise it was completed, but I never managed to find the right sound for it and at some point had to give up and leave it as is, as it was getting in the way of other pressing responsibilities.

The significance lies in the fact that I'm familiar with these records on a personal level, and I know what it was like to make them - the fun had and the challenges faced - but I wonder what the significance is to the listener.

I myself don't listen to these records.

So what happens when it stops being fun?

The times spent in my room breathing these concepts are the childhood memories I reminisce in every odd day or so, but, ultimately, this trade has been but a hobby, and one that these days, very often feels like a self-imposed chore I rather remember fondly than take too seriously as the meaning and purpose fade.

Be creative, but don't let it define you.
Have fun, until you are not having fun. Be present.

A big thank you to each and everyone who came across this discography and found it worth the time.
